Malam Jabba the beauty of Pakistan what a beauty it is, located on a Hill Station located 8700 feet above sea level, on the Karakorum Range. It was originally a skiing resort created by Pakistan Tourism and Development Corporation, (PTDC) but was well famous in a couple of years ago. Malam Jabba has a ski slope of about 800m with the highest point of the slope of 2804 m (9200 ft) above sea level. The resort was made by the collaboration of Austria and Pakistan but was demolished a few years ago. In 2014, An MOU is signed between the tourism corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Samson Group of Companies to establish the Malam Jabba resort once again.

Snow is guaranteed

Malam Jabba pike is blessed with gorgeous snow season and is widely recognized as one of the best snow-sure skiing destinations in Pakistan. Malam Jabba relies entirely on natural snow and there is rarely chance to suffer from lack of snow. It has top-of-the-range snowmaking facilities, occasionally gets enough snow for skiing. The high altitude of many of its mountains brings about ideal snowy conditions.

Malam Jabba is safe but mainly full of tourists. There is a chair lift that can take you to the peak of the mountain, and then you can come back to the foothill by slipping on the tyres that is a real fun. The high quality of its ski lifts, unlike other places, it is obligatory for children under the age of 15 to wear helmets when skiing.


There is a main airport within an hour of Malam Jabba. Getting to the resort is easy with frequent bus connections. You should have at least one overnight stop to enjoy or you may have time for a few turns, arrive by lunchtime and ski all afternoon.

Great value for money

Pakistan Rupees, All International Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard) are accepted in the ATM. Not only will your holiday cost you less, but there are roller and ice skating rinks on the Malam Jabba ski hills. So in case one does not want to ski, they can always remain occupied by indulging in other activities. You can take the slides on the snowy mountain while sitting on the tyre and for that, the ticket is very nominal i.e. 20 PKR.
